I’m happy to announce that we are now a family of four! Number 2 turned out to be another girl! I have to admit I was kinda rooting for a newborn boy but I wouldn’t trade Anessa for anything. I can also confirm what everyone told us… every pregnancy and delivery is different. We had a easier than normal delivery for our first daughter, three and a half hours from labor to delivery. When the time came for number 2, we went to the hospital with a swagger of a veteran… our little newborn girl had other plans… Nine and half hours later our little newborn Anessa arrived and I couldn’t have been any happier. I’m so happy to introduce everyone to Anessa.
I couldn’t let this prime opportunity to experiment with my new props on my new little newborn model. I was so excited to start that we began the day we came home from the hospital while mom rested. Enjoy!
I just wanted to give a special thanks to our good friends, Grace and Ryan for keeping an eye on Alina while we were in the hospital, our neighbor Tina for organizing a meal train, and our wonderful neighbors that dropped off food to us while we recover and figure out our new life with two little ones and of course our family for your love and support while we reacclimate ourselves with functioning with little to no sleep.
