Yes you read that right! There are two parts to this family portraits session! This family came to us all the way from my hometown of Maryland. We were so humbled when mom, Kristen proposed to fly over to California’s Bay Area just to photograph her daughter’s birthday photos and their annual spring family portraits. “The beautiful California weather would be a nice change of pace from the cold weather we’ve been having in Maryland” was the gist of our conversation. After careful planning for beautiful outdoor photos, the weekend arrived and Mother Nature had other plans in the amount of an Atmospheric river. For those who don’t know, it means a boat load of rain…
Our plan was to photograph her princess birthday portraits on the first day. We decided to make San Francisco city hall her princess’s palace, and the Palace of Fine Art, also in San Francisco, the princess’s “Palace Gardens”. It was a blast for everyone, we stayed dry for most of the day and we were able to see some great San Francisco sights.
The next day, the sun came out and we went to the beach! Part 2 is coming soon!
